COVID-19 FAQs

We’ve made a few important changes to our stores to ensure the health & safety of our customers & employees.

If you have any queries, please refer to the following FAQs or contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.

Can I still grab my Banjo’s fix?

Yes, ALL our stores remain open to provide you with your favourite Banjo’s treats permitted that you’re feeling fit and healthy.

A limited number of people are currently allowed inside our stores. This number depends on the size of the store and it is stated on our store’s front doors.  Please abide by this number and only enter the store when permitted.

Can I dine in?

We are following Australian Government guidelines in regards to dining in. Please refer to your State’s government legislation for more information.

Yes, dining in is now available once again. However, the number of people permitted to dine in (excluding staff and people waiting for takeaway orders) is currently limited depending on the state you’re in. If outdoor dining is available at the store, the same number of people are permitted to sit within this area in addition to those inside the store.

So, feel free to sit down (in or outside one of our stores) as long as it doesn’t exceed the permitted number of people and you keep at least 1.5m away from others.

Can I pre-order my food and/or drink to collect in-store?

Yes, you can! Simply phone your local store to organise collection in-store! See store details at https://banjos.com.au/banjos-bakery-locations/.

Alternatively, you can now place a same day order online via our new Click + Collect ordering service. Simply visit https://banjos.redcatcloud.com.au/ordering#/.

Can I get Banjo’s food and drink delivered to my door?

Depending on your location, some stores may be able to provide delivery to your door – please phone your local store to discuss possibilities.

Alternatively, Banjo’s is available on Uber Eats. Download the App and check the availability in your local area today! If in a serviceable area, your order will be delivered in taped takeaway bags and you now have the option of a no-contact drop-off which means you can request in the app that your order is left at your doorstep.

Can I get food and drink brought out to my car?

This is a possibility, but depending on the store, a number of factors will need to be addressed to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our customers.

Factors influencing this service include (but are not limited to):

  • Only EFTPOS payment is accepted and must be paid for over the phone prior to delivery of product.
  • Distance car is parked away from the store. Customers must park out the front of the store, or at a pre-determined location, for our staff to deliver their order. The availability of external collection points varies per store, please contact your preferred store to discuss possibilities.
  • Time of day and staff numbers will influence the availability of this service, please contact the store and speak to our friendly staff regarding availability times.

If the store can fulfill your order, you will need to provide the store with your name, mobile number, and the model, colour and registration number of the vehicle collecting the order.

Can I still enjoy a complimentary shortbread and/or marshmallow?

Yes of course, however they’re currently unavailable for self-serve. If you’d like one of our delicious biscuits or marshmallows, simply request one from our staff!

I’d like sugar in my hot drink, but the usual condiments station is empty, is it still available?

It sure is, simply let staff know how many teaspoons you’d like in your hot drink when you place your order. Sweetener is also available.

Is cutlery still available with my takeaway order?

Yes, simply let staff know what you need! Re-useable metal cutlery is currently unavailable – we apologise for the inconvenience!

Would you like our staff to put the lid on your takeaway hot drink?

Simply ask our friendly staff and they’ll be more than happy to pop your lid on to your hot drink! Don’t worry, they’ll use a fresh glove to place it on!

Are there any changes to food handling in-store?

Yes, to avoid contact, our staff have been instructed to no longer hand product directly to you. Items will be placed on the bench or counter for you to pick-up.  As always, our staff follow strict health and safety guidelines and will continue to:

  • Regularly wash and sanitise hands
  • Wear gloves when handling food and change gloves following each order
  • Change gloves before AND after handling money
  • Clean and sanitise tables after each use

Are newspapers and magazines still available?

To prevent the spread of germs, newspapers and magazines are currently unavailable to read in-store

Can I still pay using cash?

Yes, but to avoid the handling of cash money, we encourage you pay using EFTPOS (particularly Pay-Pass) wherever possible. Please note that our EFTPOS machines are sanitised by staff following every use.

Can I still scan my ViP Card in-store?
