Our Whole meal bread is made from stoneground wholegrains, which are milled to a finer texture. It contains all the components of the grain, meaning that whole meal foods are also wholegrain.
What is stoneground?
Stone milling is nothing new — it’s the way flour was made for thousands of years before electricity came onto the scene. Stone-ground flours are thought to be more nutritionally sound because they contain the germ and bran. Incidentally, these are the parts that hold a lot of flavour, too.
Our Sourdough Rye Vienna loaf is a delicious traditionally handcrafted European style bread. Containing lots of natural goodness, Sourdough is renowned for its digestive health benefits and helps keep you feeling full longer.
‘Finnenbrot’ is a traditional German bread combining rye and wheat flour and filled with assorted whole grains and sunflower seeds. Every slice is extremely satisfying and packed solid with seeds and grains, including malted wheat flakes, wheat fibre, rolled oats, soy, linseed, kibbled rye and polenta. Each loaf is rolled in sunflower seeds to give it a unique crust. Our Premium Sunflower Finnen is definitely one of our heartier loaves and weighs in at over 1kg.
