It’s coffee fundraising time!
We’re donating 50c from EVERY large coffee sold during September!
Since 2015, $138,487 has been raised from large coffee sales during our annual SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY fundraising months in support of suicide prevention.
This September, we’re teaming up with Stay ChatTY once again to not only raise vital funds from large coffee sales but more importantly encourage meaningful conversations around mental health.
It is MORE IMPORTANT than ever to Stay ChatTY given the current pandemic!
Humans are SOCIAL animals and CRAVE connection.
As we spend more time in our homes, cut off from friends and family in a bid to stop the spread of the virus, the lack of physical touch can be mentally challenging.
For people who live alone especially, this extended lack of contact may be particularly tough. But just because we’re physically distant from each other doesn’t mean we can’t still be emotionally close.
Maintaining regular human connection is more important than ever as we navigate these difficult times.
So during September, grab a mate you haven’t heard from in a while, shout them a large coffee from Banjo’s and take the time to have a meaningful conversation. One question can make a whole lot of difference… are you okay?
50c will be donated from EVERY large coffee purchased in September 2020 at all Tasmanian Banjo’s stores and our Warana store on the Sunshine Coast. Funds raised will go towards two key areas of work that Stay ChatTY focus on – education and awareness – using the funds to develop further resources for their programs and social media engagement.
