New POS - ViP Loyalty Transition FAQ 

We will be rolling out a new point of sale (POS) system across all Banjo's bakeries. This upgrade will provide our Loyalty ViP Members who use A ViP Card or the Banjo's App a more personalised and elevated experience when shopping in our stores. The roll out will begin in February 2024 and is due to be completed in all stores by March 2024.

Good news! ViP points remain earnable during the rollout, and we're committed to minimizing any temporary inconveniences. However, there may be some minor disruptions including:

Account detail updates might take a little longer. 

Is my personal information secure?  

Yes. Our team are ensuring all personal data migrated as part of the new POS upgrade is secure and private. You can view our full Privacy Policy here: https://banjos.com.au/privacy-policy  

Will my ViP Points still accrue?  

Yes. If you purchase a product in store and successfully scan your ViP Card OR if you make a purchase on the Banjo's App while signed into your account, you will receive ViP Points in accordance to the terms and conditions which can be found here: https://banjos.com.au/terms-and-conditions  However, there may be delays in your point balance updating. If your balance doesn't update within 7 days, please contact the Banjo's Resource Centre on (03) 6210 5000. 

My birthday is during the roll out, will I still receive my free Birthday Treat?  

Yes. The Birthday Treat coupon will be emailed to you to redeem in store if you if you are a registered ViP Member with a verified email address that is opted in to receive marketing communications. The Birthday Treat coupon is available to redeem 2 weeks before your birthday provided to us and expires 2 weeks after that date. Our staff will be able to process this in store.

 I'm NEW! can I sign up to the ViP Club during the roll out?  

Yes. our staff can help you to sign up in store, or alternatively you can sign up via the Banjo's App! The Banjo's App is available to download on the App Store & Google Play. 

 Can I still redeem my free welcome coffee when I sign up to the App? 

Yes!  The free welcome coffee is only available to redeem in store, you cannot redeem via the app.

 Will I still be able to use my 50% off coupon on the app?  

Yes. This coupon is exclusive to the Banjo’s App and will still be available to apply to your order as long as the coupon terms and conditions are met and the coupon is applied at checkout. 

 I’ve updated my account details, but the changes are not showing in store. 

There may be a slight delay in these changes showing in our POS. If your updated details are not showing correctly when you sign in online, please contact the Banjo’s Resource Centre on (03) 6210 50000. 

 Why is the roll out taking so long?  

We have 46 stores across Australia and each store has 2-3 POS that needs to be updated individually. We don’t want to rush the process and make sure we get it right for a smooth transition to have as little impact on our customers as possible.
